Italian economies endured

Starting with GDP,[1] despite the fact that the Spanish and Italian economies endured the greatest fall as a consequence of the pandemic, by the second quarter of 2024 they were 4.7% above the fourth quarter of 2019. As shown on Figure 1, French GDP managed to climb to 3.8% above its pre-pandemic level, while in the case of Germany, the Eurozone’s largest economy, GDP in the second quarter of 2024 was only 0.3% above the level of the fourth quarter of 2019. ufabet
